Glenn Close, Jimmy Fallon Have Face Stuffing Contest on “The Tonight Show”

The two had to eat as much food as possible in 10 seconds with utensils provided to them

Actress Glenn Close took to “The Tonight Show” to talk about her new Broadway gig, but things quickly turned messy as Jimmy Fallon challenged her to an eating contest.

In the “Face Stuffing Contest” the two had to eat as much food as possible in 10 seconds with utensils provided to them.

Announcer Steve Higgins stepped in as referee and told Fallon and Close they had to use whisks to eat spaghetti, salad tongs to scarf down fully loaded nachos and for dessert, gobble down blueberry pie using their face as a "utensil."

"Only face, no hands," he warned.

A scale was under each dish to determine who had eaten the most. By the end of the 30-second challenge, both Fallon and Close were covered in blueberry filling and as they both inserted their entire faces into the pie.

"You look a little blue," Higgins told Close as she wiped her face. "Are you alright?"

Fallon ate the most spaghetti and nachos, each worth one point, but ended up tying the game with Close as she ate the most pie, which was worth two points.

After a 20-year break from Broadway, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actress will be back on stage starring in “A Delicate Balance,” officially opening on November 20.
