Miranda Lambert, Lionel Richie, Ariana Grande and More Set to Dazzle “Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular”

Celebrate the nation’s birthday with the 38th annual "Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" on NBC.

Hosted by "America’s Got Talent’s" Nick Cannon, the spectacle will dazzle with performances by chart-topping stars Ariana Grande, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, Enrique Iglesias, the Zac Brown Band and Lionel Richie. The presentation will air Friday, July 4  at 8-10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with an encore presentation at 10 p.m. highlighting the second hour of the special.

This year, the patriotic celebration returns New York's East River and lights up the night from one of city's most iconic landmarks — the Brooklyn Bridge. Macy’s last showcased the Brooklyn Bridge in its fireworks spectacle in 1995.

"We’ve had our eye set to feature this world-famous landmark in our show for many years," said Amy Kule, executive producer of Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks. "And with the advancements in pyrotechnic technology and artistry, we expect to create jaw-dropping effects that will delight millions of spectators as this quintessential New York icon joins the 4th of July party."

More than 3 million spectators will watch the event live, along with millions across the nation via the NBC broadcast, as the Macy’s Fireworks will be launched from barges positioned on the lower East River.

And in honor of the 200th anniversary of "The Star-Spangled Banner," the firework-accompanying 25-minute musical score will feature patriotic favorites by The DIVA Jazz Orchestra. Plus, new recordings by The Charlie Daniels Band, Tony award-winning artists Idina Menzel and Billy Porter, and choral vocals provided by New York City's Essential Voices USA.

Performed exclusively for the 2014 fireworks, a new rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" featuring Menzel can be downloaded free of charge through July 5 at the Macy's website.
