Bruce and Kris Jenner Separate

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" stars said they are living apart.

Bruce and Kris Jenner have separated after 22 years of marriage, E! News is reporting.

Rumors of a marital split have have plagued the Jenners for months, and only last week Kris' younger sister Karen Houghton told In Touch magazine that the pair were indeed living apart.

Now it appears the couple are putting those rumors to rest.

"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the pair said in a statement to E! News. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

Bruce, 63, and Kris, 57, have two teenage daughters, Kendall and Kylie. Kris is the mother of Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian Odom as well as Robert and Kourtney Kardashian.

In an interview with US magazine that will be on newsstands Friday, Kris says that there is no animosity between her and Bruce, and that he will continue to appear on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

In the interview Kris goes on to say that the pair have no plan to divorce at this time. "We ended a marriage, but that's not the end of our friendship," she told Us. "I will always love him, but we are no longer a couple in that way."
