Jessica Biel Is Not Pregnant: ‘I Have a Gut, Apparently'

"I thought I was doing good in the gym," the actress tells Ellen DeGeneres

Contrary to reports, Jessica Biel is not eating for two.

Amid tabloid articles claiming the actress is expecting baby No. 2 with husband Justin Timberlake, Biel stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Thursday to promote her new restaurant, Au Fudge, and to dispel pregnancy rumors in the process.

"Isn't it exciting, guys?" she joked of the rumors. "I don't even know what to say about these things. I feel like, man, I thought I was doing good with my yoga practice. I thought I was doing good in the gym. But, no! I have a gut, apparently."

After hearing the rumors, Biel gave Timberlake a call just to verify that she's not pregnant. "I was like, 'Are we? No? OK, cool.' He usually knows more about everything than I do," she joked.

Biel, who described herself as Timberlake's "No. 1 fan," also opened up about their 11-month-old son Silas. "Silas loves his music, so I want him to hear it a lot. We listen to it in the car a lot."

When she was pregnant, Biel said she attended between 40 and 50 of Timberlake's concerts.

"The music was just slamming. I actually thought, 'I'm going to damage this child,'" she joked, adding that Silas is a "very musical" baby. "He is really, really in love with Erykah Badu. He loves her music. He beats to her music. He loves that. He's gotten, just recently, these drum sets. He likes to drum, and he likes to play his piano and he likes to drum with his head – which I just think that's genius, if you ask me."

After DeGeneres joked that it might have been wiser for Biel to give her son a less noisy instrument, the actress explained, "This was a gift and I had to accept it. Parent fail No. 2! This is a continuous daily experience for me, a bunch of failures."
