Michelle Obama to Guest Star on “Nashville”

It's time to get fit, y'all, because the First Lady's coming to "Nashville"!

Michelle Obama will be making a special guest appearance on the May 7 episode of the smash soap drama, ABC announced Friday afternoon. Everyone's favorite FLOTUS, will be playing herself, but that's not the only special guest who will be popping up in Nashville.

Country starlet Kellie Pickler is also set to appear alongside the first lady in the penultimate episode of the season, making this her first return to ABC since winning "Dancing With the Stars" in 2013.

So why are these two ladies headed to Music City? The episode finds Connie Britton's Rayna rallying some friends to join her in a visit to Fort Campbell, where she organizes a charity concert after finding out that Luke has been injured in Afghanistan.

Aside from the special guests, the episode is pretty packed with juicy storylines leading up to the season two finale on May 14. Aside from the concert, "All or Nothing with Me" will feature Deacon and Maddie charting a new course for their future and Will and Layla starting their reality series. Meanwhile, Juliette (Hayden Panetierre) finds it hard to keep the truth from being revealed to Avery.

While we're going to assume that Mrs. Obama will not be singing at the concert, she could still surprise us. We all know that her husband's quite the crooner, so she may very well have a little music up her sleeve.

"Nashville" airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
