New “Fantastic Four” Trailer Shows Villain Doom, Team's Super Powers

Mere days after teasers for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" were released, a second, longer and more detailed trailer for the "Fantastic Four" reboot was posted online.

The movie, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's longest-running superhero team, stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic, ("he knows answers to questions we don't even know to ask yet"), Kate Mara as Susan Storm / The Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Jonny Storm / The Human Torch and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm / The Thing.

The new trailer, which followed a teaser released in January, shows how, after they teleport to an alternate, dangerous universe, they are transformed into, yep, superheroes, with awesome super powers.

Their mission: To save Earth from an evil foe and former friend. And his identity is finally revealed in the trailer.

The character, played by Toby Kebbell, is a modern version of Marvel villain Dr. Doom, aka Victor Von Doom, Richard's longtime nemesis. In the new movie, he is referred to simply as Doom.

"He's Victor Domashev, not Victor Von Doom in our story," the actor told Collider in November. "And I'm sure I'll be sent to jail for telling you that. The Doom in ours–I'm a programmer. Very anti-social programmer. And on blogging sites I'm 'Doom.'"

Yes, this Doom is a computer nerd. A very dangerous computer nerd.

Also spotted in the new trailer: A cute, bro-tastic moment between Teller and Jordan (was that supposed to be a high five? A fist bump? No worries, guys, we've all been there).

"Fantastic Four" hits theaters on August 7.
