Backstreet Boys Surprise Fans With iHeart Radio Festival Performance

The performance gave fans a preview of the Boys' upcoming Las Vegas residency

Best-selling boy band the Backstreet Boys surprised iHeartRadio festival-goers Saturday evening with an unexpected performance of some of their biggest smash hits. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson set Sin City on "fire" with their own mini-set before joining country crooners Florida Georgia Line for a rendition of the Boys' "Everybody ("Backstreet's Back)."

With a Britney Spears headlining performance earlier in the night, it was like the stars had aligned for a throwback to the early-aughts pop music scene.

Clad in matching black-and-hot-pink ensembles, the heartthrobs also performed their hits "As Long As You Love Me" and "I Want It That Way."

On Friday, E! News learned BSB is following in the footsteps of artists like Spears and Jennifer Lopez with a residency in Las Vegas. The show, titled "Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life," will go live from The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino beginning March 1, 2017.

"We're going to call the show Larger Than Life, and we're taking that theme and we're going to run with it," Richardson said.

"If you've ever been to a Backstreet Boys show... it's going to be that on steroids," Litrell said.

Tickets will go on sale to the public on Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. ET. American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public, beginning Monday at 1 p.m. ET through Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. ET.
