T.R. Knight: ‘I Want A Baby'

36-year-old actor said he wants to be a dad

It appears there's something in the water at Seattle Grace.

The cast of "Grey's Anatomy" has most definitely been bitten by the baby bug, with Ellen Pompeo welcoming her first child on September 15, Katherine Heigl completing the adoption for baby daughter Naleigh on September 17 and now news that Eric Dane is expecting a child with wife Rebecca Gayheart.

In fact, baby fever has even spread to former "Grey's" star T.R. Knight.

"Everyone is having babies," T.R. said in a new interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" airing on Tuesday. "I want a baby."

"Do you have one?" he asked Ellen.

"No, I don't have one," she replied.

"Because sometimes you give people things," he laughed.

But all joking aside, the 36-year-old actor, who is currently starring in the musical "Parade" in Los Angeles, said he really does have hopes of being a dad.

"I don't know if it's going to end up working out, but that would be something I would like," he added. "We'll see."
