Seth Rogen Tops Forbes' List of Hardest-Working Actors

Hollywood stars may earn millions, but according to Forbes, there are at least 10 who work hard for their money.

In a ranking of stars who had leading roles in the most films over the last five years, none were also on the mag's highest-earning list — but thanks to their top-grossing films, all are household names.

Seth Rogen ranked No. 1 on the list, with 10 films that earned a total of $892 million over the last five years.

The comedian's releases in that time included "Superbad," "Knocked Up," "Pineapple Express," Observe and Report," "Funny People" and "Zach and Miri Make a Porno."

No. 2 was Morgan Freeman, whose work has included "The Dark Knight," "Batman Begins" and "Invictus," for which he earned an Oscar nomination. His nine films over five years earned $1.168 billion.

At No. 3 was Matt Damon, who starred in "Invictus," as well as films such as "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "The Departed." He made a total of eight films, which earned $696 million.

Another comedian, Will Ferrell, landed at No. 4, with eight films grossing a total of $607 million – from sports spoofs such as "Blades of Glory" and "Semi-Pro" to the more serious "Stranger Than Fiction."

Resurgent star Robert Downey Jr. rounded out the top five with seven films and a total of $788 million, including "Iron Man," "Tropic Thunder" and "The Soloist." His latest, "Iron Man 2," is due May 7.

Rounding out the top 10 were Samuel L. Jackson (seven films/$700 million), Sandra Bullock (seven films/$655 million), Meryl Streep (seven films/$547 million), Shia LaBeouf (six films/$1.3 billion) and Christian Bale (six films/$1 billion).
