King of Pop to be spent eternity in mausoleum to the stars

It's a final resting place fit for a king.
The King of Pop will spend eternity in a mausoleum-to-the-stars among some of Hollywood's biggest legends when he is laid to rest more than two months after his shocking death in a very-private ceremony next Saturday.
Michael Jackson, placed inside a gold-plated casket, will be put into a crypt set in the wall at the Holly Terrace section of the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif., during a private ceremony on Aug. 29, sources told the New York Post.
The hulking grey stone building is adorned with replicas of Michelangelo's works and features a stained-glass rendering of "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci affixed over the entrance -- which is the only part of the uber-secure two-building structure that the public has access to, the Post reported.
Jackson will be placed among legendary stars like Clark Gable, W.C. Fields, Red Skelton and Jean Harlow. Also in the crypt is writer Louis L'Amour and Seabiscuit jockey George Woolf, the paper reported.
Michael's five brothers will be pallbearers during the late August funeral that falls on what would have been Jackson's 51st birthday. The Jacksons delayed the burial because of fear vandals could desecrate the singer's grave, the Post reported.
"The private ceremony will be limited to family and close friends," family spokesman Ken Sunshine told The Post.
Officials at the gravesite reportedly reassured the family that Jackson was safe at the site with security cameras keeping watch over the mausoleum, a friend told the Post.
"The artwork is cheesy but it's very dignified and not cheap," celebrity grave-hunter Scott Michaels told the Post. "It goes on forever, all these different hallways."
Jackson was remembered during a public memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on July 7 following a private viewing at Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills. He died suddenly on June 25.
