ESPN's Erin Andrews: Nude Video Was a “Nightmare”

ESPN sideline reporter says being filmed in the shower was terrifying

ESPN reporter Erin Andrews spilled to Oprah Winfrey this week that being secretly filmed while nude in a hotel room was a "nightmare" that she'd never forget.

Andrews told the talk-show host in an interview set to air Friday, Sept. 11 that having secretly taped video footage of her on the Internet was a surprise that terrified her -- and that when the video rocketed across the Internet, she was heartbroken.

"[I] opened up the computer [and] could feel my heart pounding," Andrews said on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Andrews' attorney said Andrews, a sideline college football reporter for ESPN, will seek legal action against whoever shot the video, filmed at a hotel. The blurry five-minute video shows Andrews fixing her hair after getting out of the shower.

Andrews said on the "Oprah" segment that she's eager to get back to work now that her life has settled down after the ordeal.

"It's really going to help me heal my wounds," Andrews said.

The interview will air as part of the "Summer Headlines" show, previewing the 24th season of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
