Michael Jackson's Doctor Comes to the Rescue

"Is there any other doctor on board?"

The doctor accused of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of pop icon Michael Jackson possibly saved the life of an unconscious female passenger this morning aboard a US Airways flight from Houston to Phoenix.

A flight attendant on the plane asked passengers if there was a doctor on board, after a woman passenger had fainted and could not be revived. Dr. Conrad Murray, according to several media outlets, evaluated the woman, who was in her 20s and decided she had a very weak pulse.

Murray inserted an intravenous tube and stabilized the woman -- who was traveling with a baby -- until the flight could make an emergency landing in Albuquerque, N.M.

The celebrity website TMZ.com was first to report the incident and said, "Of all the things you DO NOT want to hear after fainting aboard an airplane, 'I was Michael Jackson's doctor' has to top the list."

Her condition was not released, but TMZ reported that she offered profuse thanks to Murray.
