Shiloh Baptist Church will host a diabetes awareness event on June 16.
“Focus on Diabetes” will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the building gymnasium at 1500 Ninth St. NW.
The event will feature an appearance by former NFL running back Marcus Dupree.
Guests will have the opportunity to learn healthy lifestyle tips and enjoy nutritious refreshments.
