Come visit Storm Team4 and News4 Northern Virginia Bureau reporter David Culver this weekend at the 33rd annual Celebrate Fairfax! Festival, Northern Virginia’s largest community-wide celebration.
The three-day event, featuring more than 120 live performances on eight different stages, will kick off Friday at 6 p.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center. This year's headliners include The All American Rejects on Friday, Cheap Trick on Saturday and The Hunts on Sunday.
Dozens of local and regional artists will also play trhoughout the weekend. All shows are free with general admission to the festival.
Along with the music, the festival offers a variety of exhibits, food, crafts and activities, including carnival rides and a petting zoo. Visitors can register for several different competitions, such as the Fairfax County Karaoke Championship, Cornhole Tournament, Emerging Artists Program and Photo Contest. Each day of Celebrate Fairfax! ends with a fireworks display.
Festival-goers can also stop by the Storm Team4 meteorologists' booth and meet meteorologists Doug Kammerer, Tom Kierein and Amelia Segal. They can also see the Storm Team 4x4, a mobile weathercasting center that allows Storm Team4 to broadcast from the heart of a storm. Plus, News4 Northern Virginia reporter David Culver will be around for a meet-and-greet.

Getting There:
Fairfax County Government Center located at 12000 Government Center Parkway. Free shuttle bus service will operate every 5-10 minutes from nearby remote parking facilities -- Fair Lakes Circle and Fair Oaks Mall - to the front door of the festival.
