Winterthur and Longwood Gardens Host All-Day Holiday Tours

Winterthur, a historic museum, garden and library in Delaware, is kicking off the holiday season with a pair of special exhibitions that spotlight the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany and the rich jewel tones of Tiffany glass.

The accompanying exhibit "Tiffany: The Color of Luxury" features a look at our country's shifting material culture of elegance and refinement.

Next stop will be at the former home of H.F. Dupont, featuring the dried-flower tree that made with 60 varieties of greenery and blooms.

The tour concludes with an evening tour of Longwood Gardens, where you'll see hundreds of sparkling snowflakes, bright tree forms, and illuminated fountains. Lunch is included at Winterthur; free time is allotted at Longwood Gardens to pick up a bite on your own.
