A S'More Trolley to Toyland

As we sit here with our eggnog lattes in hand (OK, that may be wishful thinking), we're starting to see the winter events trickle in... and we love it. The S'More Lights trolley is first on our list and it's headed straight for Toyland.
And not the creepy Toyland like in March of the Wooden Soldiers. At least, we don't think so.
Head to Gaithersburg during their 17th annual Winter Lights Festival and drive through Winter Woods, Teddy Bear Land and Toyland.
During S'More Lights on Sunday, Nov. 25, you can toast marshmallows and make s'mores in an open-air trolley as it takes you through Toyland.
You'll find it all at Seneca State Park (11950 Clopper Road, Gaithersburg, Md.), where the Festival features has more than 360 illuminated vignettes and 65 animated displays along a 3.5-mile drive.
The festival's premiere weekend is set for Nov. 23-24, and will then be open nightly from Nov. 30 through Dec. 31 (except for Christmas).
Hours are Sun.-Thurs. are 6-9 p.m., and Fri.-Sat. 6-10 p.m. Admission is $12 per car Mon.-Thurs., and $15 Fri.-Sun. (cash-only at the gate). S'More Lights admission on Nov. 25 is $8 per resident or $10 poer non-resident, you can order online here.
Gaithersburg is about 45 minutes from downtown D.C.
