The Roots and Blues Festival in Lancaster, Penn.

Join 50+ national music artists for the two-day Roots and Blues Festival in the national historic district of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The festival, set for Friday and Saturday, Feb. 6-7, will gather artists from around the U.S. to take one of 10 stages. Bringing the 50 artists into such a small town was no easy task, so the fest will be spread across eight venues, all within a few blocks of each other.

For the music pros, master class sessions will be held at the Ware Center on both days. Some sessions will also include talks with famous musicians, including Liberty DeVitto, Billy Joel's drummer; and Kenny Aaronson, a bassist who has played with the likes of Bob Dylan and Neil Schon.

Find a complete schedule of events for the festival online. Tickets start at $20 per day and reach $225 for a two-day VIP pass.

A little fact about Lancaster: The entire city is a national historic district and the only city in the U.S. with that designation. That means tons of history and lots of attractions.
