On Saturday night, Nov. 17, you can hit up BMA Late Night, an after-hours bash with no cover charge (9 p.m.-midnight).
Visit the galleries, dance during a live performance by White Life, and immerse yourself in an audio experience with sound artist Tim Nohe. You can try out some art activities of your own, too: debossing during a letterpress project, and joining in on a collaborative sculpture. "Light bites" and a cash bar are available until 11:30 p.m.
On Sunday, Nov. 18, an all-ages event offers live musical performances, art-making demos and activities, poetry readings and a fashion show.
The new wing will feature 14 "refreshed and revitalized" galleries; two new interactive galleries; work by Andy Warhol and Robert Rauschenberg, among other artists; a new black box gallery for light, sound and video works, and more. Admission is free.
