What would have been the first Silopanna Music Festival was cancelled last year due to Hurricane Irene, but weather this Saturday should be relatively sane.
The lineup features Cake, Citizen Cope, G. Love & Special Sauce, longtime local band Jimmie's Chicken Shack and more than a dozen other acts spread out across three stages at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds (1450 Generals Highway, Crownsville, Md.).
Food trucks -- including D.C. Empanadas, D.C. Slices and Feelin' Crabby -- will be hovering nearby.
Pavilion stage acts begin at noon, and if you're looking for a bargain (and aren't very picky), you can enjoy $3 Bud Light drafts from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tickets are $59.50 in advance or $75 the day of the show. The VIP package ($195 in advance; $250 day-of) offers a shaded tent, unlimited beer and wine, a reserved area next to the stage, a dinner buffet, private bathrooms and a goodie bag.
