Scapescape 2013 Arts Festival Descending on Baltimore Labor Day Weekend

    For one of the more curiously named arts events in Maryland, look no further than Scapescape 2013.

    This Baltimore festival will run from 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 to 11 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1 in the Station North Arts and Entertainment District, featuring copious amounts of music, theater and art.

    The wine and beer will flow, and the music will be loud this Labor Day weekend as the city is flooded with the sounds of more than 100 local bands on seven different stages:

    • Charles Street (1712 N. Charles St.)
    • North Avenue (10 W. North Ave.)
    • The Metro Gallery (1700 N. Charles Ave.)
    • The Windup Space (12 W. North Ave.)
    • Liam Flynn’s Ale House (22 W. North Ave.)
    • The Crown (1910 Charles St.)
    • The Broom Factory (3500 Boston St.)

    Theater events will take place at:

    • Station North Chicken Box (1 W. North Ave.)
    • Liam Flynn’s Ale House (22 W. North Ave.)

    Local artwork will be on sale at seven galleries:

    • The Metro Gallery (1700 N. Charles St.)
    • The Charles Theater (1711 N. Charles St.)
    • Single Carrot Theater (1727 N. Charles St.)
    • Station North Arts Café (1816 N. Charles St.)
    • Station North Chicken Box (1 W. North Ave.)
    • The Windup Space (12 W. North Ave.)
    • Liam Flynn’s Ale House (22 W. North Ave.)
