Maryland Antiques Show

Forty of the country's top antique dealers will be at the Maryland Antiques Show this weekend in Timonium.

Browse items such as Victorian and Georgian jewelry, colonial furniture, coin silver, antique clocks and more; attend seminars and bid in auctions.

On Friday, you can join the New Collectors' Soiree at 5:30 p.m. for beginning decorators looking to learn more about using antiques in the home.

Another highlight is an appraisal session on Sunday at 1 p.m. led  by J. Michael Flanigan and Paul Winicki, who have previously appeared on PBS’s “Antiques Roadshow." 

Auction donors include Walt Disney World Resort, Radcliffe Jewelers,  Southwest Airlines, Calvert Wine & Spirits and more. Exhibitors will present antiques in a range of styles from early American (18th-20th centuries) to Asian and English.

The show runs 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24-25, and on Sunday until 5 p.m. General show admission is $15, though some special events have additional costs.

The event will benefit the Family and Children's Services of Central Maryland, an organization that providrd services for children and adults coping from psychological and physical trauma.
