Think Woodstock with a bit of twang and a hint of Rocksteady: That’s how we can best describe FloydFest, a three-day music fest located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

Lovers Rock, the theme for this year's fest, means 100+ performances across 10 stages, a trapeze show, outdoor adventures and the workshop porch, a chance to relax and story tell with headlining artists of the event.

When you're not enjoying the music, take a hike (literally) or a river float trip or hey, just run a 5K.

Single-day admission (Thur., Fri., and Sat.) is $80, a three-day admission (Fri.-Sun.) is $175. FloydFest is located near milepoint 170.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd, Va. The festival runs July 26-29.
