If you are in need of a dose of good ol’ arts and crafts along with Annapolis eate, then head out to the First Sunday Art Festival.

On the first Sunday of each month, the community of Annapolis comes together to celebrate the creative talents that make up such a rich and thriving city. From handmade art and jewelry to local musicians, you can browse and shop for wares by about 100 regional artists.

On Sunday, Nov. 4, the festival adds its Holiday Art Sale at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts (801 Chase St., Annapolis, Md.). Three stories, as well as the front driveway, will be filled with live entertainment, great holiday gifts, food vendors and more.

After checking a few things off your holiday shopping list, take a break and relish in the newest demonstrations and a gallery talk by artists featured in Maryland’s Hall new exhibits.

Free admission; noon.- 4 p.m.; rain or shine; about 40 miles from downtown D.C.
