Baltimore Restaurant Week Is July 27-Aug. 5

D.C. Restaurant Week is still distant on the horizon, and we're hungry (and cheap) NOW.

That's where Baltimore Restaurant Week steps in, with more affordable prices than its counterpart to the south. You can nom a three-course dinners for either $20.12 or $30.12 per person -- 10 to 15 bucks cheaper than D.C.'s discounts. Some Charm City spots will also offer two-course lunches for $15.12.

Granted, that doesn't include drinks, tax or tip... or gas to get there, for that matter. But you can make a day of it, with a trip to the Baltimore Aquarium, the American Visionary Art Museum, or an Orioles game at Camden Yards.

Looking for something more off-the-beaten-path? Try the Edgar Allen Poe House and Museum or browse in the eclectic shops along W. 36th Street in the neighborhood of Hampden.

Baltimore's summer Restaurant Week runs Friday July 27 to Sunday, Aug. 5. Participating spots are located in Baltimore's Little Italy, Fells Point, Federal Hill, the Inner Harbor and more -- see participating restaurants here.
