Get some inspiration (or just a lot of popcorn) at the Chesapeake Film Festival in Easton, Md., which is set to show 24 films over three days.

Running Sept. 21-23, the fest brings you narrative, documentary and short films that aim to educate. The films will be shown in various places around Easton, so make sure you check the schedule. Pricing for a weekend pass (all films) is $150, with a single screening for $10 ($8 for students).
While films will focus on everything from music to the environment to women's issues, the festival also offers a variety of discussions and panels. Our pick ? The television industry panel, where you can learn about what it takes to get a show onto TV.
Easton is about 90 minutes from downtown D.C.
