When the weather's warm, you have to soak it up like... well, like wine. Not a great analogy? We don't care. The point is: WINE.
The Central Virginia Wine Festival is this Saturday, May 12, just about two hours from D.C.
The fest will feature 12 local wineries including Belle Mount, Huntington Creek and Veritas vineyards. More than 20 specialty vendors will be on-site for the in-between wine sipping sessions, and three local bands will performing on stage.
Tix are $25 at the gate; the price include free wine tastings and a souvenir wine glass. Admission to the fest without tastings is $10.
The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. at 4901 Lake Brook Drive in Glen Allen, Va.
