Wine, food and cheese? Yes please!
The Annapolis Food and Wine Festival in Downtown Annapolis is giving you more than one option to enjoy this day of festivities, set for Saturday, March 10.
The day includes the Chesapeake Ballroom Tasting Event, a Sip and Stroll option, and the Dining at the Chef's Table series. Choose from one event or visit all of them, because you really can't mess around when it comes to wine.
The ballroom tasting event (Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel, 80 Compromise St., Annapolis, Md.) features 100+ wines and runs from noon to 6 p.m. General admission ($35) includes wine tasting seminars and culinary specialties.
The Sip and Stroll event allows you to buy a ticket (for as low as $5) for a set time to enjoy sample tastings of wine and food from your choice of three local restaurants. Pre-registration is required.
The Dining at the Chef's Table series includes special menus created by chefs at three city's top restaurants... which of course includes wine pairings. Brunch/lunch is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Make your reservations directly with the hosting restaurant.
