George Lopez: I'm Not Getting “Leno-ed” By Conan

George Lopez is not worried that new TBS stablemate Conan O'Brien is doing to his show what O'Brien accused Jay Leno of doing to him at NBC, that is tanking his ratings and trying to muscle him out of his time slot.

"I am not getting Leno-ed," Lopez told talk show host Larry King. "I welcome Conan."

O'Brien will take the early slot on TBS with Lopez's popular talk show bumped to later in the night. But rather than being put out,  Lopez only sees the positive side of a massive audience leading into his show. And there are other perks.

"I'll go to work an hour later. Come on, it's a dream come true," Lopez said. "And the pay is the same."

O'Brien was dealing with an offer from Fox for the late night spot, but surprised the world by going to TBS. Lopez was a major force in wooing O'Brien, according to reports.

O'Brien sought to make sure Lopez was down with the reshuffle. "What he was concerned with, he wasn't going to do to me, what was done to him at NBC," said Lopez. "That was not the case."
