"Marley," director Kevin McDonald's log-gestating documentary about reggae legend Bob Marley, has finally dropped a trailer ahead of its 4/20 (get it?) release.

Bob Marley & The Wailers exploded on the U.S. scene in the early '70s amid a giant cloud of marijuana smoke and a massive tangle of dreadlocks, delivering hits like "I Shot the Sheriff" and "Get Up, Stand Up," introducing the nation to whole new world of music and culture.

But Marley would die tragically in 1981, at the age of 36, succumbing to cance, and leaving behind a legacy that endures today. "Marley" opens April 20.
