A rep for the department told TMZ that the correct paperwork for the show has been submitted and approved. "The proper steps have been taken and the kids are permitted for 'Kate Plus 8,' " the spokesperson said.
The TLC show will feature the world's most famous single-mother and her kids traveling around the country. Now that Gosselin has been booted from "Dancing With the Stars" she's ready to get the show on the road and remind people about the type of television that made her famous in the first place.
The tiny co-stars are not scheduled to appear in Gosselin's advice show "Twist of Kate."
Gosselin told PopcornBiz that she was waiting until the last minute to tell the kids about the channel program because they were just going to ask about it repeatedly if she told them too early.
"I don't want to tell them yet truthfully because I'll be bugged to death," Gosselin said at the time. "It's the Mom in me, I'm sorry."
Now would be a good time Kate.
