"My Own Love Song" Soundtrack Has 16 Dylan Tracks and 3 From Zellweger

"My Own Love Song," among the official selections at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, has a soundtrack loaded with songs by the great Bob Dylan.

Earlier this week, a trailer and two clips for the new film (see below), starring Renee Zellweger as a paraplegic ex-country singer and Forest Whitaker as her best friend, hit the tubes.

Now comes word that the soundtrack, in addition to three songs sung by Zellweger, contains 16 from Bob Dylan.

"Dylan put together so much material for the film that a chunk of it ended up forming the bulk of his 2009 album "Together Through Life" (which earned him a Grammy Award)," reported The Playlist.

The film's IMDB page describes the film thusly: A wheelchair-bound singer and her best friend embark on a road trip to Memphis.

It sounds positively dreadful, but Zellweger and Whitaker have both done good work in the past. But what really gives this project hope is that it comes from writer-director Olivier Dahan, the man behind "La Vie En Rose," which made Marion Cotillard a star and won her an Oscar.
