“Lost” Trumps Obama

After much intense fervor yesterday when it was momentarily speculated that President Obama's State of the Union Address might interfere with the Feb. 2 premiere of "Lost," the dogs can be called off.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs announced Friday that the president's speech would not be scheduled to interfere with the most anticipated night on television in recent memory. You know why? Because Obama understands which side his bread is buttered on. The dork side.

Plus, he probably wants to watch too. Can't you just see him and Michelle, eating popcorn and trying to understand why Ben and Charles Whitmore hate each other so much?

The winner of the Best Tweet of the Week goes to Carlton Cuse, executive producer of "Lost," who excitedly wrote, "No State of the Union conflict with LOST! We go Feb. 2!"

All is right with the world once again. Well played, Mr. President. Well played.
