It's the Indispensable "Expendables" Trailer

Prince William County police say a naked man attacked a teenager walking to the bus stop in Woodbridge. Northern Virginia Bureau Chief Julie Carey reports. (Published Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016)

The new trailer for Sylvester Stallone's love letter to himself and his tough guy brethren is about what you'd expect. We leave it to you to decide whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

The list of stars -- Sly, Jason Statham, Arnold, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Bruce Willis -- is almost as ridiculous as the names of their characters: Barney "The Schizo" Ross (no relation), Lee Christmas, Gunnar, Toll Road, Dan Paine, Hale Caesar, Tool, Trench... In this gripping new saga our heroes head down to South America to overthrow a despot.

We should all feel blessed that we're living through a summer that offers not one, but two rogue mercenary blockbusters. One has to wonder if the nearly simultaneous release of the new trailers for "Expendables" and "The A-Team" was piece of petty counter campaigning.
