Downey and Galifianakis' "Due Date" Developing Nicely

A cruise ship battered by rough seas and powerful winds in the Atlantic Ocean cut short its voyage and docked at its New Jersey port Wednesday night, as thousands of weary passengers streamed out of the ship what one woman called "a cruise from hell." Checky Beckford reports. (Published Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016)

Let's be honest -- there isn't a lot to report on this front, just a new peek at arguably the most anticipated comedy of the year.

"Due Date," Starring Robert Downey Jr. and Zack Galifianakis, seems almost too good to be true. Two of the funnier men in Hollywood in a film directed by Todd "The Hangover" Phillips, with appearances from RZA, Jamie Foxx, Alan Arkin and Juliette Lewis.

The film, slated for a Nov. 5 release, follows two men on a cross-country road trip trying to get Downey home in time for the birth of his child. The pic, posted on IMDB last week, shows the two stars at a diner joined by a dog sitting in a highchair.

Just the sight of Galifianakis 'fro should warm your heart. The man's ability to delve into the absurd with mugging is a gift we can all share.
