A Quick Sell in NYC for Anderson Cooper

While many celebs are struggling to find buyers for their homes, Anderson Cooper had no difficult unloading his Manhattan abode. Curbed reports that the journalist and television personality unloaded his midtown penthouse for $3.8 million (the final sale record just hit public record) just one month after listing the pad on the open market.

Cooper reportedly did a number to the penthouse, giving it a head-to-toe renovation. His former digs boast Chambord oak floors, a floating staircase that leads up to an entertainment room with a wood-burning fireplace and dining room, chef's kitchen, a 1,700-square-foot private roof terrace, as well as two bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Maintenance charges for the swanky home total a hefty $3,184 per month.

Not only did Cooper's pad go into contract one month after a public listing emerged, but the CNN journalist originally listed duplex penthouse for $3.75 million. A profit and a quick sale? We're thoroughly impressed.
