McDonnell To Tour Virginia With Mitt Romney

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will launch his new bus tour Saturday in Virginia.

"The Romney Plan For A Stronger Middle Class" bus tour will hit four states in four days. He will begin in Virginia on Aug. 11 and continue on to North Carolina, Florida and Ohio the following three days.

The exact locations of the Virginia leg of the tour have not been released.

News4's Julie Carey has confirmed that Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell will join Romney at his Virginia stops. McDonnell has been on Romney's list of possible candidates for vice president.

A source tells NBC News that Sen. Rob Portman will join Romney on the Ohio leg of the bus tour.
