The Great 8's skates are available on charitybuzz and were donated by Alex Ovechkin himself. The proceeds go to Soles4Souls.
Ovechkin was kind enough to donate a pair of his used skates to raise money for a good cause.
There is also a helmet signed by the Washington Redskins 2010 team available. This will probably raise a hefty sum, as well. The proceeds of that auction will go to Tulane University in New Orleans.
Autographed sports memorabilia tends to get pretty expensive, but knowing that all of the proceeds go charity is always a great excuse to splurge!
