Robert Griffin III Feels “Already Part of Redskins”

When not posing with statues of his likeness made of deli meats, Robert Griffin III is conducting a ton of interviews.

With the NFL Draft Thursday and his official arrival to Washington imminent, Griffin sat down with Rachel Nichols for a profile on ESPN's "E:60."

In the profile, RGIII discusses his feelings about finally making the NFL and his journey to get there, but also talks about how he feels about becoming a part of the Redskins.

"I feel like I'm already a part of the Redskins," Griffin said to Nichols. "I'm excited to go there. There's a lot of excitement, but it's not just excitement for me. Yeah, they'll get a franchise quarterback or a young quarterback they can develop, but they're excited for that team.

"Great defense, a lot of weapons on offense," he continued. "They just need someone they can believe in and I'm happy I can be that guy."
