Richmond Team Saluting Anthony Weiner On “Scandal Night”

We've been focusing on Richmond a lot lately, what with the Redskins holding training camp there and all. If you're in town and need something to do after watching other people work out Thursday, may I suggest you head down the street to The Diamond for "Salute To Scandal Night."

The Richmond Flying Squirrels, the capital's AA baseball team, plan to "honor" disgraced New York politician Anthony Weiner, among others. All hot dogs will be $1, and the Squirrels are encouraging fans to take pictures of their...wieners and tweet them to the team's official account. Because you see, Weiner has been in trouble for sending pictures of his...nevermind.

Other scandalous events include the "Tiger Woods Closest To The Pin Challenge" and the "Brett Favre Football Throw." I'm sensing a pattern.

First pitch is 7:05 p.m. Thursday.
