Redskins Release First Regular-Season Depth Chart

A cruise ship battered by rough seas and powerful winds in the Atlantic Ocean cut short its voyage and docked at its New Jersey port Wednesday night, as thousands of weary passengers streamed out of the ship what one woman called "a cruise from hell." The Redskins begin preparation this week for the first game of the 2014 season against the Texans on Sunday, and in doing so released their first depth chart.

There aren't too many surprises listed among the various positions. One to note: Bacarri Rambo is listed as the Redskins' starting strong safety with recently acquired Duke Ihenacho as his backup. Rambo will replace Brandon Meriweather, who is suspended for the first two games of the season. Chris Baker is also listed as the starting left defensive end and backup nose tackle.

Washington has the day off Tuesday before returning to practice Wednesday in Ashburn.
