Officially Welcome Robert Griffin III To D.C.

The Indianapolis Colts have been playing mind games for months regarding who they would take with the top overall selection in this month's NFL Draft. Between team owner Jim Irsay's cryptic tweets and his apparent courtship of both Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III and Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, D.C. fans didn't want to fully commit to the idea of Griffin donning burgundy and gold.

But rest easy, Redskins fans. It seems like the wait is almost over.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and the Indianapolis Star's Bob Kravitz, the Colts will select Luck with the first pick in April 26's draft, leaving Griffin to the 'Skins at No. 2:

"We've exhausted the process and pretty much made up our mind,'' [Colts GM Ryan] Grigson said. "We feel really good about it.

"We've known (the identity of the No. 1 pick) for a little while. We've done all our due diligence. Barring some unforeseen event or problem, we're pretty sure what direction we're going.''

Grab your Griffin-themed sandwiches, order your customized jerseys and stake out a great spot along the parade route. He's coming.
