Monique Currie

What kind of winter are we looking at? News4's Doug Kammerer tells you what to expect, and how many big snowstorms he expects will hit. (Published Monday, Nov. 9, 2015)

Monique Currie has D.C. roots, and is living the dream by playing for her hometown team, the Washington Mystics.

The Bullis School grad was a standout baller at Duke before heading to the WNBA -- first to Charlotte, then to Chicago before finally landing back in D.C. with the Mystics.

That's what you'll find out from Currie's Wiki page or bio, of course.

Want to know anything else about her? Just look her up on the Twitter. To say she's active in the social media sphere is an understatement. She lets you know what she's doing, where she's doing it and her reasons for doing whatever it is she's decided to do.

Entertaining?  Yes.  Informative?  Yes.  TMI? Maybe, but we like the way she rolls. We wish more athletes would do it.  And we're thankful Mo' does what she does.
