Washington Capitals defenseman Karl Alzner is arguably one of the nicest members of the team. Always affable, Alzner always seem to have a smile on his face and judging by the cupcakes that his fiancée Mandy made, it is not hard to understand why.
Alzner was kind enough to share Mandy's cupcakes with the local media after Sunday's 2-0 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs:
It looks like Alzner is literally buttering up the media. In that case, the Caps played a terrific game Sunday in a 2-0 win over the Maple Leafs. Brooks Laich and Mathieu Perreault scored and Michal Neuvirth earned his third shutout of the season, but the real story was the solid play of Alzner, which kept Washington in the lead throughout the game in what was a Norris Trophy-caliber performance.
Can I have more cupcakes now, please?
