Jason Chimera To Throw Ceremonial First Pitch At Nationals Game Sunday

The Washington Capitals announced Friday that forward Jason Chimers will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Nationals Park Sunday when the Washington Nationals host the Baltimore Orioles.

Chimera will have an opportunity to cement his legacy in Caps first pitch history, which currently consists of some solid performances.

There's Alex Ovechkin...

...And there's John Carlson.

Both solid pitches. You figure that since Ovechkin is Russian and Carlson is American, Chimera, a Canadian, will throw a pitch somewhere in between. He needs to; somebody has to redeem Canada on the baseball field after what Bruce Boudreau did.
