Dwayne De Rosario Scores 100th Career MLS Goal

It was a pretty busy evening in D.C. sports Wednesday; the Redskins were playing and winning a meaningless game and the Nationals were snapping out of a funk at the expense of the Miami Marlins.

Meanwhile, back at the aforementioned teams' former stadium in Southeast, D.C. United hosted the New York Red Bulls at RFK.

In the 68th minute, midfielder/team captain Dwayne De Rosario put United up 2-1 -- the game ultimately ended in a 2-2 draw -- to earn his 100th career MLS goal.

DeRo is only the seventh player in MLS history to hit the century mark in goals. Despite losing the lead, United is unbeaten in 13 straight home matches, tied for the franchise record set in 2007.

United currently has 41 points, good for fourth in the Eastern Conference.
