There will be no Winter Classic rematch in the NHL playoffs. The Lightning made sure of that by downing the Penguins Wednesday night in Game 7 of their first-round series. That means it will be a Caps-Bolts series in a matchup of Nos. 1 and 5 starting Friday night at the Verizon Center.
Games 1 and 2 will be broadcast on Versus, while Games 3, 4, 6 and 7 (if necessary) will be shown on Comcast SportsNet in the D.C. area. Game 5, if necessary, will be shown on NBC.
