Capitals Announce 2013-14 Preseason Schedule

The 2012-13 NHL season only ended three days ago, but with Sunday's draft and next week's free agency, the 2013-14 season is already on the horizon.

That being said, the Capitals unveiled their preseason schedule Thursday, which will feature eight games against five teams, including the opener against the Jets in Stirling-Rawdon, Ontario, as part of Kraft Hockeyville and the second-annual Baltimore Hockey Classic against the Bruins.

Below is the entire schedule. Home games at Verizon Center are in bold:

Sept. 14  - Winnipeg Jets - Stirling-Rawdon, Ontario - TBD
Sept. 16  - Philadelphia Flyers -  7 p.m.
Sept. 17 - Boston Bruins - 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore - 7 p.m.
Sept. 20 - Chicago Blackhawks - 7 p.m.
Sept. 23 - Boston Bruins - 7 p.m.
Sept. 25 - Nashville Predators - 7 p.m.
Sept. 27 - Philadelphia Flyers - 7 p.m.
Sept. 28 - Chicago Blackhawks - TBD
