One of the advantages of Twitter is that it brings us closer to our favorite personalities. If you're Washington Capitals defenseman Karl Alzner, however, Twitter can also be used as Craigslist.
This weekend, Alzner placed an ad for his truck on Twitter. According to a series of tweets, here is what he is offering:
A 2007 Toyota Tundra "with a couple things done to it," including "rims, tires, exhaust, intake, lift, blacked out, and grill." It has "around 120,000 km" (or about 74,500 miles).
Alzner is looking for "$30,000 obo," though you do have to pay to ship it from Calgary (that's in Western Canada for those who are geographically/Canadian-challenged), but Alzner knows "a good company."
And don't try to lowball him like "a bunch of funny guys out there."
