Bryce Harper to Make MLB Debut Saturday

Apparently, Washington Nationals General Manager Mike Rizzo had a "noteworthy baseball announcement" to make. I must say, it was pretty damn noteworthy.

With Ryan Zimmerman out with a shoulder injury, the Nationals have decided to place him on the 15-day DL to make room for Bryce Harper, who will make his MLB debut Saturday agianst the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Harper is batting .250 with one home run and three RBI in Triple-A Syracuse, but the time has apparently come for the Nats phenom to make his long-awaited debut.

By the way, Stephen Strasburg will be pitching for the Nationals Saturday to coincide with Harper's first MLB game. The future is now.
