Bryce Harper on Cover of This Week's Sports Illustrated

The Washington Nationals' first spring training game is Saturday against the New York Mets, so to prepare yourself for the upcoming season, Sports Illustrated put Bryce Harper on the cover of this week's issue

This is Harper's second SI cover; he was billed as "Baseball's LeBron" in the June 8, 2009, issue. The kid is 20 years old.

Inside the magazine, which hits newstands Wednesday, Harper discusses, well, what he has in mind for an encore after his Rookie of the Year award-winning campaign in 2012. Here's the juiciest tidbit:

“I’m not going to put it [in] my head," he said. "Sophomore slump? I was a sophomore in college and raked. Why can’t you rake in the big leagues?”
